Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Mynderse scored first and shutout Midlakes-Red Jacket for the first half, on their way to a 5-3 win on the road. It was the first win for the Blue Devils this season and avenged their earlier 6-2 loss when they played the Eagles on May first. Junior midfielder Mitchell Dekanski led the scoring with 3g and freshman midfielder Dylan Tandle added 1g-1a. Senior goalkeeper Gino Poretta had 15s/3gs (83%) for the winners who will play Waterloo on Thursday. There was no report from Midlakes-Red Jacket at post time. [BOX SCORE]

# 2876  Many Mismatches Today, and Hilton Takes Out Fairport

Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: There were fourteen games played today and most were mismatches. Of the rest, Hilton, for the first time in program history, beat Fairport 9-8, despite a last quarter surge by the Red Raiders. The Cadets led 4-3 at the half and then scored five goals in the third to end the quarter up 9-4. The offense of Hilton was spread between eight players with Matthews Mojsej leading with 1g-2a. Ben Metrano, Brenden Howell and Michael Galante each added two goals while Clayton Duford recorded 9s (53%) for Hilton (8-3). Klay Stuvert and Colin Peers each had 3g-2 for Faiport (8-2)

# 2803  Mynderse defeats Eastridge 14-3

Mynderse improves to 2-0 on the young season with another decisive victory over Eastridge 14-3. After a slow start, tied at the end of the first quarter, Mynderse went on to score 11 unanswered goals over the next two and a half quarters. Leading the charge for the Devils was senior attackman Owen Lorenzetti (5g-3a).  Colby Reese (2g-4a) and Ethan Spinner (1g-3a) also added to the high point total in this high scoring game.  For Eastridge, junior Zachary Hiscock led with 1g-1a.
